Determining the Fork Class
Forklifts have five carriage classes, primarily depending on the machine’s load capacity. How to choose the right fork class?
- Measure the distance between the hooks (see fig. H2) – this result will help determine the fork class.
- To identify whether it is type „A” or „B”, measure the dimension from the bottom edge of the fork to the top hook (see fig. H1).
- Compare the obtained dimensions with the data provided in the table.
